WhatsApp Lead Follow-Up and Creative Approvals
Adgeniz includes WhatsApp workflows for reviewing generated creative options and, when a business has completed the required sender setup, starting structured lead qualification. These are two different uses of WhatsApp: a business owner can review an ad poster, while a prospective customer can answer relevant questions before a team follows up. Availability depends on the WhatsApp connection, approved message templates and Meta's messaging rules.
Two separate workflows
Creative approval is for the Adgeniz account owner: the system can send generated poster options for review and record the owner's selection. Customer lead qualification is for a business's own leads. It requires that business to connect an eligible WhatsApp sender. The customer-facing qualification flow deliberately does not fall back to a shared Adgeniz sender, so one business cannot send customer conversations using another business's identity.
Connect a business-owned WhatsApp sender
The business must have a supported WhatsApp Business setup, the necessary Meta permissions and an eligible phone number. Business-initiated messages require an approved template for the intended use. Sender availability and template approval can differ between accounts, and a connection attempt may be blocked by Meta eligibility or API restrictions. A connected number alone does not mean every message template or campaign is authorised.
Begin qualification with a relevant lead
After the business has an eligible sender and the appropriate template, an authorised team member can start qualification for a lead with a valid phone number. The first message introduces the business. Subsequent questions collect the information needed for the saved qualification workflow, such as the customer's requirement, approximate project size, location and expected timeline. Questions and eligibility rules should match the actual service being offered; a generic sequence is not appropriate for every industry.
Keep the business in control of lead decisions
The workflow records replies and evaluates them against the business owner's saved rules. When the available information does not clearly meet the criteria, the lead should remain in a review state rather than being labelled qualified with invented confidence. A team member can inspect the answers and decide the next action. The Facebook lead management guide explains how to organise incoming leads and follow-up responsibilities.
Use WhatsApp for creative approvals
For creative work, Adgeniz can prepare poster options and request an owner selection through a configured WhatsApp approval flow. This is different from sending marketing messages to customers. An approval should be tied to the correct job and account, and a failed or undelivered message should not be treated as a confirmed approval. Respect consent and messaging restrictions
Only message people through channels and templates your business is authorised to use. Store and respect contact preferences, avoid unnecessary personal details, and make it possible for a team member to handle replies that do not fit the expected flow. Meta may restrict template categories, sender eligibility and message windows; the connected account must meet the rules in force when messages are sent. If a message fails, investigate the provider response and sender configuration before retrying. An accepted API request is not proof that the customer received or read a message. Keep an auditable record of the selected channel and the action the team actually approved.
